I'm planning to take off on an extended trip to Europe next Fall. I know I'll be hitting England...what I want to know is, how possible is it to arrive in the Lake District and get a job to fund traveling? As hostels have limits on how long you can stay, and I don't know anyone I can crash with, I'm guessing I'd have to rent a room in an inn or some such place in order to stick around long enough in one place to keep a job...the kind of job I mean is waitressing, retail, etc., something unskilled to make $$. Would I come out on top if I was working but also paying for a room? Any suggestions beyond this on how to fund a Euro trip in some way other than just arriving with a lot of cash? Greatly appreciated!!!
