Heya. I work at Best Buy, thought I would let you all know there should be a *great* deal on a laptop for sale starting Sunday going for $400 bucks. I did this last time they had a deal, added 512 RAM into it and sold it for rougly $680 on ebay. Thought I would let you all know since you've been so helpful helping me plan my trip.. :-)
Check the ad, get there early!
And don't go to the Texas stores because I need to pick up as many as I can ;-P

What are the laptop specs? And what brand?
This would be a good idea...as long as it would sell. I like to compare propects like this to other things on Ebay to see how it will sell (and for how much) but seriously, if its a good plan I'm all over it!

It's a smokin fuckin deal man. I looked at store cost and it was around 600. They're taking a huge loss. Check it out. I speced in on ebay a few days ago and it's goin for 700 or so w/ the Ram addition. :-)

But what brand is it?? Do you know the specs? Is it an instant or mail in rebate? (probably mail in right??)
Cuzz here is the thing, if it is this good, I might just get up early and get like 2 or 3 and sell them on ebay (cuzz im gonna need the money!).

Yea.. talked to people showing up before we opened our doors and they were saying that they had already sold the 2 laptops they were buying for $600 on ebay.. anyhow, hope some of y'all went and grabbed some..

I went into my neighborhood store and it looks like a pretty good computer. I tried to find a worker to ask how many were left (so I could buy one for myself and one to resell) but I couldnt find anyone. I don't get paid til Tuesday anyway so I'll check again...but they're most likely be sold out.

Peramore, how frequently would you say does this kind of situation come up where you can resell stuff on eBay and turn a profit? Once every 2 weeks, once a month, once every year?
