Gettin too bangkok

Hey all
As you know Im in Oz right now, however Im thinking next year in jan or so I wanna head up too thailand, however the cheapest flight I found so far was 656 cdn pfffffttttt thats not happening, Now I rekon I might catch a boat up too dili east timor or somewhere in indonesia, then overland it as far north as I can, and then catch a nother boat into thailand, then overland again all the way too bangkok or maybe just stop in kho-pha-nang for a while in the way. I wanna do all this on 300, what you think, think I can ????? Wanna wager ???

hey willis - check out: www.airasia.com

they're a budget airline out of malaysia, but they have connections as far south as jakarta... i bet you can fly one way from jakarta to bangkok for $100usd or less (assuming you do that whole boat thing). i'm jealous that you're in the region, man - i love it down there!

i think korean air (www.koreanair.com) has some flight connections in oz - the food service is really crappy though, so bring snacks if you fly them. mainly, they're just damn cheap.
