okay, i think i have a quite bright idea here. we've all heard of global freeloaders, right? that group that links fellow travellers together for free homestay options... well how about we do it... but through swapping apartments. i mean a lot of us are already pretty comfortable with one another, actually, there are a fair few of you that i would trust staying at my pad. so, that's my suggestion. you want to come visit san diego for a week with eva, space? fine, you guys can use my cottage (great location! - haha) and dave and i will fly up and stay at your place. we could leave suggestions for restaurants and cool stuff to do fo eachother on our respective kitchen tables. get the idea? and we have members worldwide. this really only works for us punks that have matured to the point of our own living spaces, but still. i thinkn it's a great idea. i'm kind of type-rambling now, but i hope you get the picture.
i'll advertise first:
very charming 1930's 1 bd/1 ba cottage , hard wood floors, centrally located, laundry on site. just 15 minutes to downtown by bus where you can connect to all the major sites in san diego, including tijuana (but why? haha). we even have two (albeit old) bikes you can use. pretty good beaches, and i tell you... two beautiful cats too. yes, they're part of the deal... less you arrange something with a neighbor, hahaha.
really though - let's, it'll save us a lot of money.
