canadian budget

alright, getting ready to buy our tickets this week (and eurail pass and eurostar ticket) for out month long backpacking honeymoon.
I'm wondering what you guys think. will 5000 CAN be enough for both of us for a month, excluding eurail pass and plane ticket? we're going to try to stay out of the UK as much as possible (1 pound=3 canadian dollars! insanity) so that will cut it a bit. it seems it might be ok but I'm not sure.

Yup I would say your good 2 go! 5000$ CAN will give you in the area of
E3031.00.

If you budget for say 120E a day for the both of you that includes food, and lodging. You might go over a bit if you go out for a romantic evening ro head out for drinks one night. Booze will be the death of your budget if you like to party alot.

Bring a credit card for emergency, its always nice to have a bit of security!!

And staying out of the UK is a great idea, my mother just got in the area of 350P for 1000$ CAN...Man what a blow!

yep, both our credit cards will be paid off so we'll have a decent amount to fall back on if we need it. the way we both travel is up 7 out wandering by 8 so partying nights are few and far between. travelling with a hangover sucks! we've both learned that the hard way lol.
only thing that sucks about not going to the UK is I'll miss being able to go to my ancestral town (250 buck by train one way!). oh well, there's always next year!
