Discover card in europe?

if i bring a discover credit card to use as a back up card will i be able to use it? or should i try to get my hands on a visa card before i leave?

That's a really good question. Something makes me think that you may not be able to use it. Try to get a visa/mc instead, just to be safe. That way if you get over there and you CAN use your discover card you'll be pleasantly surprised. good luck!

I don't remember seeing Discover Card offered in too many places. The best bet is to get a Visa or Master Card, as those two are accepted almost everywhere that a credit card is accepted as payment.

VISA, MAster CRad or AM-X will prob be your better bet...when in doubt, call your credit card company and ask where you can and can't use you card. I checked thier site and found nothing on Travel and where the card can be used...
