i am going for 2 months in may....i've been through the same worries.......As far as money goes....What i did was break out the calculator and figure outmy budget. You should be fine, perhaps some of th e"pros" can back this up but i think the financial situation is the least of our concerns as long as we stick to the budget. Got to be willing to"get by" though and not want mr. monopoly life. 3000 Euros is getting me through 2 months by the way, do the math...we're on par. don't sweat it.

I have always been told a safe amount is $2000/month. My last figure for my trip came out to just about $1600/mo which included souveneir, film, shipping, and other fees.

Welcome to the boards borednow!

the times I have gone to europe, I have stayed for two months, and I spend about $3000. You should be fine with $4500 for the 3 months.

but like Tecia said I would recommend you take a credit card with you, just incase you need to use it for any occacion.

I'm going for 3 months in the summer with about $5400...or about 4500euros. If you break down your day...accomodation, trans, food, drink, museum passes and add it up to a days worth. Just multiply that by the number of days. Know that Southern Europe is cheaper than northern Europe so you figure to save some money there.

My budget is 50E per day.
25E--accomodation
5E---drink
10E--food
5E---sights
5E---misc

Some days you won't go to sights that charge, some days you won't drink, some days you'll splurge on food, who knows, it all evens out.

Take a credit card as insurance

Have fun, where are you going and when? Maybe I'll see you there..email me jw1313@travelpunk.com
