will I have enough ??

hey all
Well im planning on going to Oz and wherever else the wind takes me. Im gonna have rougly 6k-10k for the year. however I will have a work visa hopfully and also hopfuly a bar tender certificate, becasue i am planning too work while I am over there. If i get around 8k is this enough too get around or will I be spending a good chunk of my time stuck in some bar working ????? if not I might opt for a post poning of the trip in order to get more cash, what im gonna have has to cover tickit, pack insurence and visa, etc.. so technically I might only have bout 5k when i hit Oz soil

With 5K is that in AUS or in American or CDN or EURO or what??? No matter, even if its AUS or CDN you will be fine to start, that $$$$ will get you through a couple or few months quite comfortably. But for a year, you will for sure need to work, and your already a step in the right direction with the work visa... You will have a blast!!!
