Hey all
I was wondering how easy/difficult it is to find odd jobs around Europe. Do the hostels give odd jobs to students- cleaning rooms/ toilets/ kitchens etc for a couple of hours a day? Im travelling to France, Italy, Austria. Any other ideas/ tips to earn money while backpacking?

Thanks,
DAVID

From what i've heard there aren't many hostels that actually pay. More often than not it's you work a few hours and can stay for free...

I've found this site that seems too good to be true ! work away You'll find people offering free lodging for a few hours of work per week.

Also couchsurfing.com is a network for free lodging, all over the world.

You can also go to

www.globalfreeloaders.com

or

www.hospitalityclub.org

they both have free accomidations that people in other countries offer and you don't even have to work for it! (usually)
