I bought a mini disc recorder when they first came out and it didn't come with the software to actually make the mini discs. Apparently it was supposed to be able to copy cds onto the minidisc using a discman but that never worked for me.
I know there is a software called sonic stage 2.0 that comes with it now, but can not find it anywhere on the net to download it. Do any of you computer savvy people have any suggestions on how I can obtain a copy of this? |
I've "heard" that there "might be" some networks with the letter p and the number 2 in them that you could probably find it on.

just bought a md for my trip and got 2 bits of software.
ones that sonic stage thing your on about. when you open it it looks like it would make coffee if you only knew how to make the fucking thing work. . the second bit is called the md simple burner and as the name suggests its a piece of piss to work. as long as your not a complete muso head that wants to fade in and out of a tune whilst drinking a nice cup of coffee it should sort you out |
Sony's software sucks... I know this because I used to work on some of their stuff ;)
Anyway, here's the easy way: download it from Sony: http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/SonicS...e/SS31.asp?l=en It's version 3.1, but it should work OK for you. |
cool thanks guys I will try that tomorrow.

My blondness is really gonna shine here...dumb question coming up.
Ok, when I download this program and want to burn it, do I just burn it on a regular cd-r? |
Any ol' CD-R should be fine.
