Hi...so, I have a digital camera and a video digital camera- I want to bring those with me to Europe, but how will I charge them, since the plugs are different in Europe (i think)? Is there some sort of converter thing I can buy that like..you plug your camera/whatever into the thing and then that to the wall? I feel like there might be..but i don't know...
yup! you can buy them at electronic stores or sometimes drug stores. like radioshack, best buy, cvs, those kinds of places.
and dont forget british plug sockets are different from other european sockets
Remember to just get adaptors, not a voltage converter. Your camera's power cords have built-in transformers.
more than meets the eye
Just be warned that especially guys comming from America that not all electronic equipment have internal converters in them, so make sure u ask someone who knows before just plugging it in, cause it will fry!
i bought a 50 watt voltage convertor and multi adapter from radioshack. never had a problem charging my batteries for the camera, or the video cam.
Just look for the sticker on the power adapter or on the body of the unit itself that says "110~220V AC" or whatnot, and you know you're good.
