Default Best way to store Polaroid

I am bringing my Polaroid with me on my Eurotrip, has anyone else taken one with them and it survived the journey? It's sadly not a SX-70 but one of the 'newer' models so it's a little bulky. I know the obvious method of a case but if you've got any specific suggestions , let me know! :D thanks!

There is a similar thread about how to travel with bulky cameras here.

I myself never used a real camera case on the road, because I worry too much about getting it stealed, or looking like a rich prey... I prefer using a regular daypack.

I thought they discontinued polaroid products a few months ago? Why not go digital?
