Default Universal Adapter

I've been looking everywhere for this... but apparently it's illegal in Argentina to sell stuff that doesn't have the same outlet as we use... so it's quite hard to find those travel things that allow you to connect any sort of aplliance to any sorrt of socket.

Everywhere I sked, tehy told me to get it at the Airport's free shop, but my aunt told me thaty had sold out last time she travelled. At a store here they charge me 36 US$ + tax (21%).... And i'm thinking that's WAYYYY too expensive... what do u guys think? that i should get it here or pray that they have it for less either at Ezeiza (Argentina) or Barajas (Madrid).

Why the f*** with globalisation communicationg evryone, whith McDonlalds in every corner of the world and adidas shoes everywhere WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT ELECTRICAL OUTLETS!?!?!?

I have one very similar to this: http://www.upgradetravelbetter.com/2...-plug-adapter/

But it's not just the plug style, the actual voltage differs. So make sure you have a transformer either built into the thing you are plugging in, or a separate one.

Laptop cords are so "brickish" because the transformer is already there, but other things like hair dryers may not have them.

New (awesome) job, so the RTW trip will have to wait.

Hmm... I need something that looks like this: http://www.redusers.com/noticias/nota1070

I don't need a voltage transformer, just the multiple adapter thingy (in Argentina we use 220v and all the cuntries that I'm going to are 230v s I'm covered on that).

Argh... I think I'll just buy it.

Airport shops usually have those... of course, they'll cost less at an electronics/hardware store, but airports work in a quick pinch!
