Whats easier to bring with you on an overseas trip? Digital cam or film??

Is film ok to bring thru the x-ray in the airport? Will it affect the film you have with you?

Are there internet cafe's that will let you upload pictures from a flash card?


What's your expeirence with film? Whats the safest way to carry it so you won't ruin your pictures?
