I haven't done a street one, but I did get a headphone set like this while at Versaille in France for the Palace.

I thought it was okay although I dunno if I'd want to walk down the streets of amsterdam with this on my head! If you set some time aside and just want to learn nifty facts and history I think it'd be a cool idea!

Sometimes I'm in the mood just to be in my own head and learn about the city. There are some awesome facts to learn out there and if you remember by the time you get home, you can amaze your friends. :D

I'll agree with the anti-social part... I don't even like headphone tours at museums, as interesting as they may be. I end up feeling disconnected from everything, as though I'm a zombie.

I mean, I know zombies are cool and all, but I don't wanna be one when I travel.
