Hey. Awhile ago, I applied for a working visa for NZ, I applied online, was approved and paid for it. A couple weeks went by and I realized that I really didn't have enough time to send my passport away, to them.... as I've heard this can sometimes take months and I left for my trip in about 1 month. So my question now is, can I get my visa put into my passport when I arrive in NZ or do I have to send away for it? I don't know how any of this stuff works, and I am totally confused. Even if I don't get my visa would I at least get my money back? I've tried contacting the NZ government but they don't reply to any of my e-mails. Can anyone help shed some light? I leave in less than 2 weeks! thanks.

When I got my ozzie visa I physically had to go to the government office in brisbane and get it put in my passport. So not quite sure what NZ is like. But mines not just a stamp, it's an actual sticker that fills a whole page of the passport.

Usually you just take it in (or mail it) to your closest consulate, they put it in, and give it back to you... not uncommon at all.
