I would lean to Berlin but that may change if it's Oktoberfest in Munich at the time

I would definately do München. I just finished working there about 2 weeks ago. Of course it is amazing working there during Okotberfest, but München is such a great city even when its not going on. I worked at Wombats Hostel there for almost 3 months and everyday I could find something new to do. And even if you get bored one day, citied like Salzburg and Vienna are just a few hours away. So definately do München. Good Luck

well i havent been to munich but i love Berlin its one of my favourite cities in Europe

i spent this past summer traveling between both cities. Berlin is a pretty hardcore, rave type city and its a lot of fun if thats what you are into, Munich is a much more laid-back, "southern" type city and all of the people are very friendly. Everyone in Germany hates Bavaria because its so normal compared to the rest of Germany. I personally loved Munich and hated Berlin, but it really just depends on what you are into

Munich wins that hands down!
I left part of my heart with the beer gardens there....I miss Munich so much

Ditto. Berlin is awesome and theres something for everyone! Lots of great beer gardens but a great one is Georgenhaus.
