Do Americans need visas or anything to work in Canada? Or can Americans freely work in Canada and vise versa.

Thanks!

Hardly. Americans definitely need a work permit to work in Canada, unless they're working in a NAFTA profession. Believe me, I know. I moved to Saskatoon to live with my family, but because I moved after my family did, I do not have the same status they do. Therefore, I cannot work, I am not entitled to health insurance, etc etc.
All I do is drink and party, and that takes money - which has basically run out
