Here's my two more cents...

I can understand your aversion to English teaching jobs-I had them all: I'm not a teacher, I don't want to push my language and culture on anyone else, etc....

BUT it is one of VERY FEW legal ways to work overseas and it's pretty easy and pays extremely well compared to any other work you'll find. Most companies supply housing, hire from overseas, and train you. Just look on the net and you'll have some idea of the massive demand there is. Dave's ESL cafe is a good start but there is so much information.

I'm teaching English in Japan now and I love it more than I ever imagined I would.

Thanks bellelass. :D

I have lots of friends who are doing JET. They all love it. I just really needed to get out of the country and didn't have the patience to go through application processes, special cources, etc. for teaching English.

Hey man
I'm going to be backpacking around Europe next year, I was wondering if anybody knows about that working on organic farms or has experienced it. Sweet as, will appreciate any info. And also is it any good or should I just save up now?
