i hear you need a student pass to get into some hostels in europe, how can i obtin one and is it really important. my first time backpacking to europe.ill be ther for two monts PLEASE HELP

don't worry about it. You don't need a pass or special id or anything. It's just a place to stay. You can book ahead here at the main site. They have a whole listing of hostels just about everywhere. You may want to consider getting an ISIC (International Student Identity Card) if you're a student. You can get them for $22 and you get a discount on variuos things. Good luck! I never really saw anything you HAD to be a student for. Most of the hostels allow just around anyone to stay and the only kind of ID they wanted was my passport and or a second peice of ID (Driver's License or Student card) as a deposit on a room key or something.

Alot of the hostels are online too and make their booking policies very clear, you can always check them out or call them to see what exactly you need. Never hurts to know ahead of time.
