anyone got any info on friut picking or the like in nz aug to dec? Kiwi fruit have been suggested to me as the only one in season then?

Would lke to do something like friut picking just so out n about, esp in smaller places. If not there is always the old waitressing/ barwork.......

I did my working visa in Oz but I went to NZ and found out a little bit of work info. I think your best bet would be to work on a vineyard. There are TONS of them around Blenheim on the northern tip of the south island. I worked in a vineyard in oz and it's waaaay better than most other fruit jobs. Just look at the bulletin boards in hostels. They seem to have the most info on fruit picking jobs in the general area.
