Hey all,

I'm planning to be in Europe at this time and I am fantasizing about a way to volunteer for the Olympics....hopefully in a way that I can watch hockey. Does anybody know anything about this? Any information or websites you could point me to would be much appreciated. By the looks of things, the gold medal game should be on my b-day so to be able to watch Canada stomp the yanks or the russians for another 4 years of bragging rights on my special day would be down right delightful.

And to American hockey fans, don't worry, you can always look back to the miracle on ice, hahahahaha, just joking...but, seriously...

Torino volunteer info

Here you go. Wow sounds awesome!!! Appparently you just have to be 18 and available for at least 10 consecutive days and you get meals and everything.

That would be amazing!!! Wish I could do it.....

Wow, thanks. God damn it, I don't have my passport yet, and I believe I'll need that to sign up. Damn, I sure hope that I can get on. That will be such a bonus to my 6-12 month trip.

I had sent in my app for Athens and they called me back and everything. the problem with athens is that you need to arrange your own lodging for the time you're there and at that point in my life I had not yet thought about hostels.

So torino 2006 huh? hmmmm....

Do you have to be a member of the EU?
