I just got back from my first European trip (which I did solo). I fell in love with Scotland and lots of people I met there suggested I get a working holidaymaker. I looked into it and I fit the main criteria, I'm a citizen of the commonwealth and I'm between 17 and 30. I was just wondering if anyone on here has done this? I'm aiming to head to Edinburgh or Inverness, or both.

I'm in the process of doing it. I've got my application all filled out and ready to send in.

For starters, check out http://www.ukvisa.com/ or if you're a canuck: http://www.britainincanada.org/Visa/working.htm

I'll post my experience when I get approved.
