Default Help!

I'm applying for my student visa to Spain in a couple of months and I need to get international travel/medical insurance in order to get the visa...does anybody know if I can get it online? or any specifics about this? I'm not currently a student in the U.S.--I'm doing this studying thing independent of a U.S. university so I don't have access to a study abroad program and its knowledgeable staff. Has anybody had any experience with this recently and what would you recommend? Thanks ahead of time!

Hey Juls! I'm not exactly 100% sure what you're looking for or what the Spanish require, but World Nomad offers a great insurance policy. This explains what is covered and what is not.

I would ask the Spanish Embassy or the program you are getting your visa with if they have any reccomendations on the type of insurance you need and then do some price comparrison.

Hey my school recommended HTH worldwide, and it's what I got. To tell you the truth, I haven't used it, and I didn't really read too in depth what it covered. It was just the price my parents were willing to pay and it was only meant for emergencies anyway.

Hope that helps!

Consulates rarely are
My roomate is in a similar position where he is going abroad and needs insurance-the program he is with reccomended a company which surprise surprise ended up being very expensive so he decided to shop around and find a better deal. I dunno what HTH is like but if it comes TPunk reccomended I would trust it.
