Im an American college student w/o much money, but I want to go back to europe, this time on my own. What's a good way to make several grand in a few months, where I would have limited expenses? I've heard about working the fisheries in Alaska, or offshore on boats also in Alaska. Another option is a cruise ship, but I know next to nothing about these enterprises despite spending hours on the internet looking. Has anyone ever done this? What advice do you have of when and where to get work? Or does anyone else know of something different/safer than fishing vessels?
