Living in Spain... free food and board...

I found an awesome website www.olespain.org that can hook you up to live with a spanish family... here's the info they emailed me

Quote:

• Spanish families offer you free full board and accommodation (one bedroom,
furnished and fully equipped), in exchange of 3/4 hours per day
conversations in English with the family or their children.
• If you want: Also you will be able to practice Spanish with the families
• We find centrally located accommodation for our members who come
Spanish to work, study, or simply to see the sights spanish speaking or not.
• Free Saturdays and Sundays.
• For stays of 7 nights and over.
• Short or long stay
• Living with a Spanish host family is a great opportunity to make sure that
your Spanish improves rapidly
• Spanish host family is that the standard of family's home is in general
higher in comparison to a student flat.
• Members receive ongoing assistance.
• From 18 years
If it is interested, without commitment, it must give to dossier and photo to see profile and preferences. When a family accepts his to dossier, quickly she receives data family to decide day of arrival and data to confirm the program.
Important: the payment of total fees for program (158 euros) to be paid only after agreement by the host family
Yeah... there is apparently a program fee
I was going to try to do this in June, but now I think maybe it would be better to do later, after I have learnt a bit of Spanish so that I can then improve it a lot. Anyway, thought it was a very interesting/cool thing to share...
I meanwhile think I will be heading to Ireland very soon. I don't like travel very much at the moment... I just want to live somewhere again. Or go home:crybaby:

Aww, don't be sad! Enjoy Ireland. Maybe you'll find somewhere to settle for a little bit.

I agree with Lauren, if you're feeling burned out and road weary just rest your head for now. Go to Ireland and or Britain and settle.

It says 158 euros. Which is a decent amount of money for some accomodation for a week or more.
