I'll be going over to South America in about 9 months for 6 - 12 months and i would love to do some partying. So, my question is - what is the night life like??? I'm from Australia so i'm used to the standard nightlife of going out to clubs and pubs getting drunk and attempting to dance, but i'm hoping the party scene will be atleast a little different from this over there. What's the standard night out in say Rio de Janeiro consists of?? Do people drink a lot, or is it not such a big thing over there?? I've been told that everyone can salsa over there. Is this true, or are there atleast a few people that don't possess the ability to dance like a sex god?? How tolerent are locals of foreigners, will i be welcomed into pubs as a family member of the owner, or will i be poked in they eye with a lit cigarette and kicked out the door for entering the local watering hole?? Oh, and how easy/hard is it to pick up on a night out?? Sorry for all the questions, i'm just very curious about what it's going to be like.
I don't have a definate plan figured out but i know that i'll be going to Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Chile. Is the party scene in these countries good??? I'm open to any suggestions and have no problems adding more countries my list, in fact i need to add more countries to my list.
