posted a while back for a proposal but that was just not good on my part because of time deadlines and ya just went the wrong way about it

I backpacked in 05 to Europe for a whole summer solo and TP was very helpfull!
I wanted to know some info about Argentina.. because I'm thinking that would be a great place to make my homestay and bounce around from there, specifically BA.. I have a lot of friends who have been there and said its awesome! I don't know if I should pay to take a class and stay or just try and teach english/work and then insert myself into the culture and learn spanish that way, or just backpack it like I did Europe and stay in Hostels?? I want to stay for as long as possible hopefully 8-10 months!
Whats good about BA, whats bad?? How easy is it to travel to other countries from there.. Is it hard to find a place to live and make friends considering the economic situation the world is in right now? I've read through some other post and gathered about some places to visit.. The Iguaza Falls, winecountry in north west, etc...
Any info really will help and if I could get anyones email address maybe I can address more specifically to you that way?? Thanks for your time and consideration in answering, as i know i was kinda vague!
