Getting nervous...
Hey!
So I am probably one of the longest term creepers of this board... I think I've been reading this site since 2004 and this is my first post! My name is Chelsea and I am leaving to go backpacking through South America on Monday. I am super excited but starting to get so nervous. I am going for 3.5 months on my own. I've spent a summer doing a work placement in Cuba but I have never done anything completely independently. I land in BA on Tuesday morning- I've booked my first hostel (Hostel Suites Florida) for a few nights and then I will go from there. I would love to meet up with other travellers in SA... I am flying out from Venezuela towards the end of April and have a pretty open itinerary.
Haha, If anyone has any words of wisdom or reassuring messages (aka don't go crazy, it'll be fun), I would love to hear them.
These boards have been so helpful... thanks for all the advice and tips!

Congratulations! We hope you decide to make it less than another five years between posts 
Oh and the nervous thing never really goes away. I am heading to a place I have been two times before next week and I got a few nerves as I was buying my ticket. It all gives away to excitement once you get there :D

Im so jealous! Definitly something I want to do.
