Learning a new languange doesn't have to be a boring experience anymore, now you can learn spanisch while getting to know a different culture and make a lot of new friends.
If you are interested in learning how to dance and traveling around a marvelous country with an amazing ancient culture, besides learning Spanish, then this could be a good way to do it.
You can also take dancing lessons, or be part of our trips.
Peru is no more a dangerous conutry and ARequipa has a lot to offer!!

Peru just seems to be one of the most backpacker-friendly countries to travel through.

Can anyone verify this from your own experiences?

Hola!!

I agree!! Not only Arequipa is a cool city, but also CUSCO!!!
Culture, nature, nightlive, lots of backpackers, Machu Pichu!! there are loads of Language Schools, personnally I would recommend Amauta, a bit more expensive, but the most professional one!

WELCOME TO THE BOARDS, ELISEKENTER!

Thanks for your input! I'd love to hit up Peru sometime. Just sounds amazing!

so, did you learn Spanish from scratch and are now fluent, or improve your Spanish by great leaps and bounds from Amauta?

Can you give us an idea of cost?

hola!

Feliz Ano Nuevo firstly!!

About my Spanish: I knew already knew some grammar before coming to Peru, but the actual talking I'm doing here in Peru. My experience is that Peruvians are always in for a chat and it´s very easy to meet peruvians when going out, so ways enough to practice
the costs for spanish classes is about 5$ p/h for group classes and the double for privat classes, but if you like check it out at amautaspanishschool.com
And about Cusco: some people think there are too many gringo's, but I really like it, especially when you're staying somewhere for more than a couple of days, I mean there is always something to do and party every night!! The nature is also faboulus, Inca trail is an absulute must and travelling to Bolivia and Chili is not far from Cusco..
tell me if you like to hear more!
