Places reserved for RTW trips
Hi gang,
I am still trying to decide on an Alliance (leaning towards Sky Team but Star Alliance is right there). Some destinations are ridiculously expensive if you are using anything other than miles so I thought I'd create this thread to list some places that aren't practical but are accessible via an RTW ticket/FF mileage.
Longyearbyen - Spitsbergen, Norway SAS flies there (Star Alliance) - Most northern piece of land in the world I believe and ridiculously expensive to travel there.
Easter Island, Chile - LAN flies there (One World). The only island between Chile and Fiji, rates seemed reasonable on their site but it may be a two tier pricing for Chileans vs Tourists...
Anything else you can think of would be appreciated
