visa and mastercard are accepted world wide
normal banck cards are so long as they have the maestro symbol written on them

Just wondering, do many people speak english in Thailand, Cambodia, or Burma?? If not, how on earth will i be able to do anything??

I got by okay...it's always good to hit up the old English colonies or protectorates or whatever. Of course, Cambodia was French, but I still found a good number of folks who spoke English. Lucky thing for us, it is becoming (or has become?) the international language for travel...
