Ive been searching the shit out of the internet and cannot for the life of me find someone who is willing to rent out a boat for some RTW travel. Anybody know of a company or individual who does this?

If you have shitloads of money, they have RTW cruises. They use a smaller ship, so it stops in more off the beaten path ports. I have made a semi-serious promise to myself to do that when I retire.

Think of it: You unpack only once for the entire, nearly yearlong around the world journey...

Tons of people will let you charter thier boats for any length of time. Often times people get these boats with the intention of making up part of the cost by chartering htme out to people, cause they won't be using them all the time. If I were going to take a RTW trip I this would definitly be my preffered way of going. Assuming you are interested in boating under sail, this site is a good resource. They focus on the boating scene in Northern California.
