Question Train Travel Time

Ok I have 2 weeks to get as much of Western Europe (minus Germany) as I can. I'm starting in Dublin and spending at least a day in Galway. Otherwise I have no idea how long the trains take to get from one city to another....say from Fishgaurd to London? or Amsterdam to Paris? I'm having a hard time planning where the trip will end. Any help?

You should check this website to get an idea of the distance between cities. Where is your flight (to home I guess?) out of?

I've also had a lot of luck using RailEurope.com's site for train schedules and a rough idea of a prices.

We did the Thalys highspeed train from A Dam to Paris, just under 5 hours if I remember correctly! I was leaving the Dam though I would do what the two above suggested. Its not too hard to find out the travel times.
Cheers

I can fly out of almost any major European cities without a problem I'm just trying to decide how far I can get. Currently I'm planning on flying out of Paris or maybe Zurich.
