If you were travelling to Europe in mid-late August for 3 months.....how many countries would you seasoned travellers try to visit? Ummm...especially if this were your first big trip all over again...

I definitely want to feel relaxed, but...like everyone, want to see the most I can.

The other thing is I have a close friend who is from Turkey...soooooo, I'de like to visit there too, utilize the local connection ifyouknowwhatimean, and see where he is from, etc....Just not sure if it will be cost effective, or time efficient to travel to Turkey. I dunno....TOO MANY OPTIONS!

Of course I want to go EVERYWHERE...but, these are at the top of my list right now...not sure if they are realistic, but still....regardless, thought I would get your opinion.

UK- Have connections
Ireland- Might have connections
Germany- Have connections in Berlin
Italy- Have connections
Czech- No Connections
France- No Connections
Spain- No Connections
Portugal- No Connections
Morocco- No Connections
Egypt- No Connections
Turkey- Have connections

Thanks.

Wow...connected. Not really enough time to see all thse places in great depth, but if you plan on staying and visiting only with the connections 3 months sounds reasonable. Egypt, Morocco and Turkey are going to take up more time logistics-wise.

Nice itinerary, Kindra... but damn, all that so fast?

(I'd love to know how many backpackers really stick to those things, anyway )

Well, that's kinda the point of the post.

I'm thinking about 3 months is what I want to allocate for Europe, as I'll be heading to Central/South America in Nov/Dec/Jan.....I was hoping to get an idea from seasoned travellers...*roughly* about how many countries I should/could plan to see in 3 months.

I don't HAVE to see Turkey, but...it would be nice.

Sooooo......what's a girl gotta do to become a supa-dupa ninja memba?

ok i just wrote this once but i dont know where it went....so i will start again

If it was me i would head down from the Uk into France, head through to Spain past Gibralta into Morocco THEN i would head for Tunisia. Riding through the Nabul Orange groves on an Arab Horse is undescribeable, the scenery is amazing, the people are amazing and its unforgettable! definately one of the best holidays i have had, and am seriously considering going back

well i dont know really where to begin, i went there when i was 19 with my cousil and we stayed in Nabul. It has the old medina's and white washed buildings. They have outdoor markets which sell the most amazing trinkets. It has arabic, french and italian influences. You still see the men sitting outside the cafes with their bongs and the women are never with them. If you want a party town you could try hammamet
