Exclamation Help-Backpacking Europe: Destinations

First I want to say thanks to those who replied to my last thread, it was very helpful. I'm planning a 2 weeker across Europe (sometime in May-July) and there are so many places I want to go it's kinda overwhelming. So below I've listed a several destinations in a clockwise direction. I know I'm going to have to cut some of them out. So if anyone could recommend which ones to drop and which ones to keep, it may help me narrow my choices down. Feel free to throw one in if I left it out. The green ones are destinations I am certain about.

Amsterdam - flying in to
Hamburg
Berlin
Czech
Munchen
Stuttgart - born close to there
Frankfurt
Barcelona - probably too far out of the way
Paris
Brussel
Amsterdam - flying out of

Two weeks is a fairly short amount of time. We like to recommend a good 3 days per city, to which you need to add a travel day between places. So unless you only want to "step in" cities for a quick tour, two weeks in Europe would give you something like 4 cities to visit, maybe 5.

I agree with you that Spain is too far out, as probably Czech, because you want to keep Paris. If you drop Paris, then Prague is a good option. Hamburg and Frankfurt have little interest in my opinion, better spend more time in Berlin and München.

What about something like Amsterdam-Berlin-München-Stuttgart-Paris-Amsterdam?

p.s. I moved the thread into the "Post your itinerary" forum.

For me, Prague over Paris...... And with just 2 weeks, I would only do 3 maybe 4 cities. With just 3, it leaves a day here and there for a long day trip out to another area of the country.....
