Default Possible Trip plan!

alright, here we go, i have my dates picked for my trip.

So i Will Arrive in London on May 19th, and will Take a flight Via Aerlingus to Dublin that same day about 2 hours after my flight gets in.

In Dublin i will stay for around 6 days, with a day trip to howth a little further north ( Heard from a friend that it was a great place)

Then i Will take another flight to Amsterdam Via Aerlingus where i will stay for another period of around 4 days.

Then its off to Bremerhaven, to Visit an old friend i made quite a few years ago, and to see what north Germany is all about. Also some Old Bunkers and the such from WW2 (Length Unknown)

Moving on to Berlin where i am planning on staying for 5 or 6 days ( enough time do you think?)

Moving from there to Krakow, i will stay for 4 or so days Visiting some WW2 sites, and touring the Concentration camps. and gettin my party hat on.

Krakow to Prague, where i will stay for 4 or so days Checkin out some sites

Then im Heading to Munich to sample more Fine German Beer. ill stay 2-3 days.

Then its off to the South of france.I wanna see some great Beach Scenery, and sip a Hard iced tea on the beach. 2 days, its expensive down there...

-----------------------------------------
From here on out im unsure, i would like to tour up through the countryside of france tasting wine, picking up a job doing some random task, or just seeing what it throws at me. also a time for me to heighten my novice French Skills.

Afterwords i would like to get through Paris, only spending a couple days, before moving on to Belgium to taste some more spirits, and party like its 1999.

After that move to See the Normandy beaches, and some of the Warsites in the Normandy area, St, mere Eglise, Carentan, point du hoc, etc.

Then back to London to get a plane home!.

MY predetermined flight out is on Aug 3rd. ( but pending on what happens in terms of work, or finances, i may lengthen it )

Wow, what a novel. Let me know what you guys think!

i would like to throw a thanks out to MissChick and Slacker, cause they have helped me so much so far. and i still have so much further to go.
Thanks !

Sounds like a killer trip. You're certainly varied in your places which I think is cool. At first I thought it was a lot of ground to cover until I realized you were talking about doing May 19th - Aug 3rd-ish. Makes sense now.

I thought I'd throw some specific advice your way, just my own little opinions. I did Dublin back in 2005 for a few days. It was awesome. We also did a day trip up to Belfast. We ended up going with a tour operator for the day - turned out to be the best way for us. I highly (and I NEVER use tours) highly recommend Paddywagon Tours - especially if you can get on one of Steve McPhilemy's tours. I would even dare say skip Belfast if he's headed south and follow him along. Its worth it that much. We toured all day and ended up going out with him and his friends all night (once the tour was over, its was just a chance to drink with a fun irishmen).

Whatever you end up doing, good luck.

I already know this trip plan is going to be amazing, your return trip date is my birthday! But really... You've got a lot of distance to cover, but if you got the time and the funds, its gonna be one fucking great trip. I can help you out in A-dam, South of France, Paris, and Belgium. Hit me with any questions etc....
Cheers

ooh, in Hamburg, the Jugendherberge hostel (can't remember if that's actually how its spelt) is amazing, the one near the train station and up a hill a bit... you'll curse the hill when you're arriving with your bags but the view is beautiful up there and the place is really big and clean. they have seperate boys and girls rooms though

Wow thanks for all the replies!
- i will look more deeply into Ireland, seems like a beautiful area.
im thinking about cutting out a large section of the South of france so i can fit in Italy, i just cant miss the sights of Rome!
- Thanks for the tip in Hamburg, i will be close to that area, going to Bremerhaven so see an old friend! but separate female male area would make it more difficult for any "special time" if ya know what i mean. :D :D

--Spain never took my interest for some reason lol. i think ill save that for another trip, and it seems out of the way. there are just to many places!

my trip is still completely morphing, i seem to change my ideas on where i want to go almost daily lol.

thanks for all the awesome input ill be revising constantly and keep you all in the knowledge circle!

Spain is awesome, but I'd save it for another trip because it seems like you've got enough cities on your plate as it is. If you have any questions regarding Ireland (the west coast is amazing), Berlin, or Paris, I can offer some advice! Good luck with the planning.

If you head for Hamburg, Ali's suggestion might be a good one, if only so unprecise..., 'cause Judendheberge is the german word for... hostel !
