Default Itinary-Help needed!First time outa Europe!

WHOOPIEEEEE this time next month I will have laned in Mexico- my first time outside of Europe.

I have a rough itinary and was just after some tips, advise and general discussion about my route.

11th Arrive Cancun 2pm Merida
12th Merida
13th Campeche
14th Campeche
15th Planque
16th Planque
17th San Cristobal
18th San Cristobal
19th Guatamala- Lake Atitlan (Which village to stay at)
20th Lake Atitlan
21stLake Atitlan
22nd Lake Atitlan
23rd Coban
24th Coban
25th Tikal
26th Tikal
27th Belize
28th Belize
29th Belize
30th Tulum (is this the best part of the coast to visit or is Chetumal better)
1st Tulum
2nd Cancun Airport- departs 15.45

Im not really sure what to do in Belize or whether we should miss it out and have a few extra days in Guatamala?

Does anyone know how much it is to fly from Tikal to Cancun?

I appreciate this is a very ambitious schedule, if any, which place could be missed out.

Futhermore my boyfriend and I want to be fairly active whilst we are there, which area are we going to be able to do activities such as climbing, rafting etc??

Will 50 dollars each per day for all food, transport and a simple double room be enough??

Any thoughts welcome!!!

Thanks Tpunkers

Hey!! I've never been to Mexico (except for Nogales) so I can't be of much help, but I'm sure someone who nows these places like the back of their hand will help u in no time.

Looks like a great trip!!

Does anyone know how easy it is to travel from San Cristobal to Lake Atitlan in one day??

ANd the same question regarding getting from Tikal to Tulum in on day?

Are these distances too far to go in one day?
