After taking pencil to paper a while ago, and after much erasing, i think i have come up with a decent itinerary for myself. It's my first time in Europe and i want to see as much as possible. I will have a friend with me for the first 2 weeks and then another friend for a week after that. From then on its solo. This is no way concrete and of course i'm posting looking for suggestions. Any help is appreciated!

May 18- Arrive Koln, train to Amsterdam
May 18 to 21- Amsterdam (daytrip to Brugge)
May 22- Down the Rhine river
May 23 to 24- Heidleberg / Nurnburg
May 25 to 27- Munich with daytrip to Fussen
May 28 – Leave for Prague
May 28 to June 2- Prague
June 2- Leave Prague to Interlaken (overnight?)
June 3 to 5- Interlaken
June 7 to 8- Gimmelwald
June 9 to 14- Rome
June 15 to 18- Naples (Amalfi, Pompeii)
June 19 – Venice
June 20 to 22- Cinque Terre
June 23 to 25- Nice
June 26 to 30- Barcelona
July 1 to 4- Madrid (daytrip Toledo, Avila)
July 5 to 7- Pamplona (Running of the Bulls)
July 7 to 8 – San Sebastian
July 9 to 14- Paris
July 15 – Back to Koln
July 16 – Leave Europe

I might be adding as much as two weeks to my trip. If i do i will probably split the time in Italy and southern Spain.
