Me and some buds are throwing a last minute trip to euorpe together for this summer. We want to do London, Paris, Pamplona, Madrid or Barcelona, and a few days in Amsterdam. Open to any ideas or suggestions especially on how to get from place to place. The only real debat we have is that I will be going to Madrid and they can't decide between coming with me or going to Barcelona.

I absolutely LOVE barcelona...i was there 3 times in 2 months! I personally didnt care for madrid, but I know a lot of people who love it. However, if I had to choose, I'd definitely pick barca

How much time do you have? Whats' each persons budget?
Maybe you can throw in both Madrid and Barcelona. Sometimes, you just gotta say, WTF?!
Between the cities you listed, the Eurail is a great option. You can fly between a couple, but personally, I love trains. But, you can mix up your mode of transpo.
if you're planning that in 2 weeks, id say its not possible...you need to give yourself at least 2-3 days in each city...plus travel time...so maybe narrow it down?

We are looking at 2 weeks min and probably a few days more. I don't think I can get to Rome on this trip. I am struggling with the thought of trying to get to edinburgh and go on the Irvine Welsh Tour http://www.leithwalks.co.uk/iw/iw1.htm. For any of you trainspotting fans.
