Default Trip Planning Software?

Does anyone know of some trip planning software or free ware that I would be able to get my hands on? I'm trying to put together a travel plan and what not, and a little techie assistance could be useful.

thanks!

ya know, planning and researching your trip to me is the funnest part. I wouldn't pay anyone a dime to plan my trip route. Thats part of the fun for me. There is such a wealth of info online and the ability to book things in advance, I couldn't imagine not doing it myself. Just my thought!!! Whatever works for you though. All it takes is a timeline an agenda and a pencil with an eraser as you plan!!! Keep in mind that you can probably get any of your questions answered right here on the boards

Great post Marc. I absolutely agree. Heck, I find myself getting excited for other people planning their trips. It is like ::slaps my own face:: "you are going to work for the next three weeks Joey, deal with it!"

Lol, mmm I think I need to rephrase what I want. Because I am having a great time planning, (although a lot of help has come from Joey) lol. I just want things like Yahoo Travel where I can get a list of sights to see which other people have been to, and reviewed them sort of thing. The software would mainly be like a planner to help organize myself, because I am getting down to crunch time ect ect.

Blegh I'm making no sense

Mentira, this might help you out a bit... my dad uses it from time to time and he absolutely loves it. It's the Michelin Guide, it's super easy to use and he says you can choose the country, then type in the city, and hit Search. It lists you all the things to do and see there. It gives you the times the thing opens (museums, attractions, etc), entrace fee, a map the address and a brief description. I think it's really good.

And like Omi said, TravelPunk and a notebook works great as well!!
