Allright, even though I have my big trip on Sunday...(interlaken, Running with the bulls, and Barcelona), I am planning another one for beginning of Aug.

Here is what is now set is stone
31-Train to Munich: 6 hours
1 - Munich, day trip to concentration camp
2 - Train to Prague
3 - Prague
4 - Prague
5 - Prague
6 - Prague
7 - Leave Prague to germany(rail pass restrictions..Munich-Prague-german City)
8 - ?
9 - ?
10 -?
11 - ?
12 - ?
13--Have to be back in my hometown near Bologna Italy
14--pack, get to Bologna
15 Fly back to the States

So what should I do. The trick is, i want to go to Berlin, but the cheap flights are out of Frankfurt. Train ride from Berlin to Frankfurt is like 150 USD!!! I am also not trying to break my bank before I head back home. But I also feel like I am cutting myself short if I don't try to go to Berlin, and also Amsterdam or Brussels.

Any advice. Should I just spend all the time in Prague? That great of a city to do for about 6-7 days?

If this is gibberish, sorry...its 3am and I wanna go to bed(OAR)

Not seeing what you want to see while you're over there is gonna hurt you more in the end than spending $150 US...

The way I see while you're over there do what you wanna do.. see what you wanna see.. cause it's not often you have that kind of freedom.

I've never been to prague so I can't give you any advice there

Does your rail pass not allow any travel within Germany?

Are there no cheap flights from Berlin to anywhere in Italy? It might be cheaper to take a train from, for example, Milan to Bologne than from Berlin to Frankfurt.

You can easily spend the whole time in Prague and surrounding area, but if you really want to go to Berlin and have the time to do so, I would try to work it out. Skip Brussels and Amsterdam, though - that's too much in the time you've got.

And the trip to Berlin is probably worth $150 in the long run.

I based myself in Prague for a week, but didn't spend the whole time there. It's a great city, but if you want to see lots of different things, I'd suggest taking trips elsewhere in the area. Kutna Hora was fascinating, but Cesky Krumlov was truly awesome... I kept most of my stuff in Prague and just made little trips by train/bus, and it worked out pretty well.

Allright I think I figured it out.

30-2: Munich and Daucau(concentration camp)
2-6 : Prague
7-11: Salzburg

I have heard a lot about how gorgeous these eastern european cities are. And also how cheap Prague is.

Anyone have any good places to stay in the 3 cities?

I can't remember the name of the guesthouse we stayed in Prague, but it was pretty far from the action, so I wouldn't recommend it unless your traveling with kids and need some extra space. In Salzburg we stayed at the Etap hotel, which was around 35 Euro/night.
