I finally sat down and figured out dates. This is still rough and I still have alot of work to do. Please tell me if this is too much and I'm being too overly ambitious.

If anyone is going to be in the same cities at the same time as me, let me know and I'd love to do a meet up, especially in Croatia.

Depart Vancouver July 5
London July 6-9
Paris July 10-13
Lauterbrunnen July 14-16
Nice July 17-20
Cinque Terre July 21-23
Florence July 24-27
Rome July 28- Aug 1
Sorrento/Amalfi Aug 2-4
Capri Aug 5-6
Venice Aug 7-9
Zagreb/Split (traveling through only) Aug 10
Brac Island (Bol) Aug 11-13
Dubrovnik (Aug 14-16)
Fussen Aug 17
Munich Aug 18-20
Prague Aug 21-23
Amsterdam Aug 24-26
Back to London and then Vancouver. September 9

My friends told me to set aside 1 week for add ons if I wanted to stay somewhere longer. I return home to Vancouver on September 9th.

I already had to cut out a few cities. Is this still too much?

Tentatively it looks okay, but you'll probably want to set aside one whole day of travel between cities. That will give you a little more time and a little more breathing room. 3 days per city is, in my opinion, a bare-bones minimum, but if you have your heart set on all of those stops you should be okay. Tired, but okay. :)

By the way, somehow this topic got posted twice so I deleted the duplicate.

i like your avatar a lot - i think your schedule is way too busy though. if it were me, i'd trim it up a bit more...

It does look a little intensive - you're going to have some long travel times between a couple of destinations - can do night trains now and again, but sometimes it's nice to sleep in a real bed... Hard to know what to cut, though. Check out www.diebahn.de for train schedules, that'll give you a realistic idea of how long the train is between cities (it works for all of Europe, not just Germany) and that may help you plan/weed things out if necessary. Or work out where you can take a night train.

Yeah trimming up is recommended. The Paris - Lauterbrunnen - Nice leg is going to be brutal.

It looks like an awesome trip, but you may wanna trim a couple places off just to give yourself some breathing space. Are there any places you're only going because you feel like you 'should'?

Yeah there's a few. The Sorrento/Amalfi trip. I'm only going there because I want to go to Capri.

I really don't know what to cut out. I'm gonna have to do alot more thinking. :crybaby:
