My job keeps me from traveling. Also, I have to make trips to see my parents, sister, et al. But next summer I am taking that solo backpacking trip and nothing, I hope, gets in the way.

I chose money, but I'd also have to go with school. However, the good thing about university is it gives 4 month summer vacations for the most part - plenty of time to have a nice long adventure somewhere else, or even work abroad!

100% money. If I won the lottery I would be out of here. I've purposely set up my life so it's easy to leave. I mean if I want my job back it's seasonal so i can come back in the spring, I don't give my whole feelings away to someone just so I can leave them and break up if I want to travel, I also purposely never went to university because I didn't want student loans that would keep me from traveling. So yeah the only thing is money. But I'm half way there for my next trip!

I voted "money", because that's always my biggest issue. However, in a way, I could vote "school" too, because even though I've finished my degree now, I'm applying to go and do another course next September. So that will hold me back. After my trip this year (5 days to go!!!), I'm hoping to get another decent length trip in before uni.

I voted "nothing", although in reality it's mostly just time. I'm leaving soon though so it's all good.

I put nothing as well since I am travelling around the world right now...although it will be money once I return in April!

I checked School, I'm at Uni but not for much longer. I'm going to defer either first or second semester of next year to do my Europe trip. Can't Wait

I checked money, but it is/was a combo of money & fear for me. Since I can now fly (to a few places at least) at a greatly reduced rate, I can't use that as an excuse. And after meeting up with WWM & all of you great T-Punks, I'm over the fear & now just have to decide where I'm going on my first solo trip overseas. I've given myself a deadline of the end of this year to decide exactly where I'm going.

I'm counting on all of you to help me out, once I narrow it down & I know WWM will keep my toes to the fire.

I voted money, because although there is school and the age factor, if I had enough money, I know I could sneak in some weekend trips to New York, D.C., or some more extensive traveling in the summer.

I was tlaking to my mom about going to New York, and she was up for it so long as I had the money.

...I didn't

I voted Money as well, although it is more accurate to say that it is a combo of money (lack there of!) and not being able to get away from work. I had my vacation this summer though, so it's all good.

Money is the lowest common denominator.

It costs a lot to drop everything and fly out. No question about it. We can all make the time. But the dollars and cents (or euros or pounds as it were) always becomes the issue.

I nearly cancelled Costa Rica. But something came through last minute and I made it happen. It changed everytthing and I now can't believe how close I came to not doing it.

Carpe diem, Punks! Take the first step- its the hardest but also the most rewarding. And you'll thank yourself down the road.

Nothing for me. Of course work, money and time all play parts in limiting me to when I can travel but I take off work no problem.

I'm leaving in June for a RTW/nomadic adventure so that will be fun.

I put relationship, but, in reality it's kids that tend to slow me down. Where I have no problem sleeping in the street, getting wet/cold/dirty/sick/mugged in a foreign country, I've got to be a bit more cautious where my kids are concerned.

Their travel skills are woefully underdeveloped, and I'm in the process of rectifying it - hopefully by next summer we'll be ready for some serious international travel!

(it's bad, cause I now have money and time, just not the ability, yet)
