Well, I'm going to Qatar next weeks for a little r&r. I'll be there about a week. I'm not sure what all i'll be able to do, but it should be fun. I'll get to swim in the Persian Gulf, that will be worth the trip. Just thought I would tell you all about my good fortunes. In case anyone was wondering, Qatar is right beside Saudi Arabia.
Hey, that's great, Peenk! You deserve the R&R after Iraq, I'm sure. I was thinking about you yesterday...I popped in my DVD of Blackhawk Down and watched it.
Say, there's a scene in there where they talk about what they call Mogadishu ("The Mog"). What do you "in country" guys call Iraq? Do you have a standard nickname for it?

@ Mike, well, I guess we all have a shorter name for Iraq...and we call it shit. I guess that would be about the only other word most people would use for this place.
