Default Dreadlocks

Dreadlocks T-Punks, dreadlocks.

Who's got 'em? I want 'em! Been growing my hair over a year now and it's about 20 cm / 8 in long. Right now my biggest debate is over getting them done by a pro or letting them grow in naturally. My hair type I would say is medium curly and coarse. You can see a photo of my hair in my Poland photo album. I'll get a more recent one up soon as those ones are from around christmas.( pretty much my hair just got longer)

Any comment on the dreadlock matter are welcomed(even if you are against them)

Question Do dreadlocks go well with travelling

I had dreadlocks but I cut them only lately because I couldn't sleep at night, it was not comfortable at all.
At the beginning it was so nice but then it became less and less attractive...
I truly don't think dreads are easier for travelers, on the contrary, it becomes dirtier much faster and it is not at all comfortable, as I already mentioned before, but yep...it's charming in a way, so go for it until you'll have enough. You'll get enough sooner or later
Today I'm skin headed
I like it this way
May not be as impressive as locks...?
Luckily I've got nice face

Can't agree more, I had them too for almost 10 years.
You get used to it but after taking them off you realize how easier it is without. I'm a professional traveler and I like it comfortable, fast and most of all easy

From what I understand, you're not supposed to wash your hair for....ever?

I just could not go on without being able to fully wash my head, and every strand of hair on it, thoroughly.

With the summer heat, it could be pretty uncomfortable. I applaud all those who can tough it out.

IYou can always try it until it just ain't happen'n anymore. Good luck!
