So I am going to land in Sydney around the 10th of May. I am applying for a Holiday Work Visa, so will hopefully find a place to work at, at either a bar or restaurant. I may stay near Sydney for a month or two, but I do want to make my way up to Byron Bay, and other places along that coast while I am there. Depending if I meet up with people there that I can travel with, I may do more travelling; as of right now I am coming alone ( which maybe a little more sketchy), but am hoping to meet people really fast. I am plannig on couchsurfing the entire trip if that is possible, as it will save me the most money, and I am willing to help out at their houses. Right now I am hoping to come with $1500.00, to start with, and get a job shortly after I land. For places I want to go, I am totally open, but do want to get the Auzzie experience and culture out of the trip. I hope you have some advice on places to go?

Hey.
My name is Skylar; I'll be ariving in Sydney, Australia this May. I was wondering if you have any opinions on couchsurfing? Is it easily done, etc? As well, what are some cheap things that I should do during my 3 month stay?
