Mmm.. my grasp of the alphabet is limited. I can read it, but it's hard for me to know which letters to use for spelling. The trouble is that for every sound, there are several letters representing them.

What's amusing is this Czech site (http://www.sweb.cz/ls78/farsi.htm) does one of the best breakdowns of Farsi I've ever seen. Probably because almost all the same sounds are used in both languages, and surprisingly, they share a lot of similarities. Probably one of the things that made it easy-ish for me to learn.
