Fresh TPer here, wanted to say hola!
Hey guys!
You seem to have some awesome (and addicting) forums here, especially for an aspiring traveler like myself.
I grew up in Alaska, now living in Oregon, proceeding through year 5 of college, soon to be year 6. Whatever, I don't mind, as long as I get some breaks in between.
Last winter I took off school and spent 3 months volunteering in Costa Rica. I've spent some time in South America too. Hoping to conquer the world, as soon as my bank account will let me.

Absolutely - I'm thinking of revisiting my home for a year in Argentina, along with hitting up Brazil and Chile. SE Asia, Indonesia and that corner of the world fascinates me. I'm also considering the JET program in Japan after I graduate.

Wow, thats cool, my sister in law lived in Ashland, and Mount Hood and Govt. Camp. She was a snow board instructor while living in Mnt Hood.
