Default Quitting my job to travel the world!

Hey all, I've been reading this site for advice for the past few days so i decided to make an account.

So, my story - probably a fairly typical one. I graduated college a year ago and have been working a "real" job since then. I've known since high school that I wouldn't enjoy a typical 9-5 desk job, and have wanted to travel for a while now as well. While my job is a few steps above your typical entry level deal - it's pretty cool actually - i've come to realize that this typical lifestyle is not sustainable for me.

I recently finished paying off my tuition loans, and coincidentally my girlfriend and I broke up recently as well. So, all that combined finally pushed me to decide to go on an adventure like I've always wanted. As of yesterday I have a plane ticket to New Zealand, where I'll be WWOOFing for a while. Then hopping over to Thailand when it gets cold. And most likely I'll end my trip in Sweden and Norway, seeing as half the music i listen to originated there. Can you guess what kind of music that might be? haha

Overall the trip will last a few months and I'm very excited about it.
So, that's my story. See you all around the forum, and maybe in my travels some day!

Go for it man!!! I walked away from my life almost 17 months ago and it was the best decision... After 5 yrs of backpacking, I finally broke free to a permanent life on the road.... You wont regret it!!! Enjoy, keep us posted, and welcome to Tpunk!!!!

Death, melodic death, and black mostly. I tend to like a good mix of melody and "heavyness" or whatever people call it.

I have a band here, which is the one thing I'll miss on my travels. We're actually working on a full length album and the writing process is almost entirely finished, so I'll be laying down the guitar tracks before i leave and leaving the rest in their hands until i return.
